My name is Chris Folmsbee. I have the privilege of serving the church as Chief Ministries Officer of YouthFront and the president of the Sonlife division. I recently released a book called, A New Kind of Youth Ministry (YS/Zondervan) and I am writing the upcoming book, Clear: Bringing Your Faith Into Focus (YS/Zondervan) an interactive narrative theology book for students.

I live in St. Charles, IL with my wife Gina and our three kids named Megan, Drew and Luke. St. Charles is a far western suburb of Chicago. My family and I are actively involved in a faith community called, The Well. The Well is a small community of people trying to help God restore the world by being the church to the Greater Fox Valley area.

I have been involved with church-based youth ministry for nearly 12 years. I first got involved with youth ministry when I was a student at Davis College in upstate NY. After graduating I move to the Cleveland, OH area where I served in a couple churches before moving back to upstate NY (Albany area) where I served for nearly 3 years. I then moved to the Minneapolis/St. Paul area where I led a youth ministry for 5 years and launched a new faith community called, The Soulstice Community.
