Hey Chris,

I love the new carpet you laid in your new home... the carpet shown in the pictures of your kids. Good taste my friend.

I find some sense of irony that you have moved the same week as us, mate... isn't it funny how things work out?

We moved into our new place on Thursday, and it's awesome, but I've probably been in the opposite place, not waiting, but racing - spending so much time organizing, packing, arranging finances, then moving, unpacking, etc, that we haven't given the kids anywhere near as much time as they deserve.

I'm really looking forward to this new season (now that I'm settled in a new job and a new house), where, rather than waiting (in the sense you've used here, which is helpful) or racing (the other extreme), I am making it a priority to regularly put aside the day to day tasks and choose to engage fully with my beautiful family.

Thanks for the reminder, bro.
