One that I think is often missed. Many are willing to call for change but most rush into it without thinking it through. As far as descriptive and prescriptive, I think a philosophy of ministry should be prescribed, but a program for ministry should be described. This is because what I do (philosophy) is based on scripture, but how I do it (program) is based on my own ideas and opinions. That’s a great perspective on change. One that I think is often missed.
